Best prepared in the wooden bowl from Mexico, which, according to family legend, Kayla bought after talking down some little kid on the price for the sheer joy of bargaining. Karin now has the salad mixing and serving bowl set, minus the tongs, which were probably destroyed by constant use. Because the set couldn’t go in the dishwasher, we hated it, but the salad was so good, we loved it! Croutons were added just before serving because they disintergrated in all the oil.
