Jell-O Christmas Cake 11/19/2009

1 box white cake mix

3 oz. red jello

3 oz. green jello


Bake cake in two round cake pans according to directions. Allow to cool in pans. Prepare each box of jello according to directions. Poke one cake layer with a fork repeatedly. Pour liquid red jello over cake slowly, allowing the liquid to seep into the cake. Repeat with second cake layer and green jello. Refrigerate layers overnight, covered with plastic wrap. The next day, “frost” cake with CoolWhip. Decorate with red and green candies if desired, and serve cold.
